The Ultimate Window Treatment Guide – Get it Right the First Time!

A lot of times we see something we absolutely love in an interior design magazine or on the web. The only problem is we don’t know how to describe it or what it’s called! This has happened to me on a numerous occasions regarding window treatments, and I wish I had this one stop guide to help me through the process. From empire curtains, to the Kingston pole swag, to the elaborate empire… who knew all these different combinations existed! My favorite is by far the Empire curtain combination below. Spotlight on: Designer Ashley Whittaker

Make way for Ashley Whittaker, one of the few interior decorators that can actually get classic traditional design right on the bull’s-eye! This New York City decorator has been claimed the “neo-traditionalist” of design and brings the right pinch of modern-day elegance throughout her traditionally decorated projects. Looking at her work brings me back to the classic all-American style that once graced the Better Homes and Gardens magazines years ago.
