Charming Venetian Apartment

BOLD is one word that best describes this chic apartment. I am completely in awe of the breathtaking artwork sprawling across the room, and the emerald couch is definitely a winner. If you haven’t noticed the walls were kept a warm grey which is a popular choice among many designers today. It’s a great color that matches just about anything and lets you play around with hues through furniture and art.

Featured Home: Back in Time at Oak Alley Plantation

If you are visiting Louisiana you have got to make a stop at the beautiful Oak Alley plantation. This gorgeous mansion is located nearby the Mississippi River, and is famous for its driveway lined with enormous oak trees. Its gracious interiors are so romantic and charming, definitely a house I would love living in.

If you can’t get enough of this look, try hunting for antiques from the 18^th century or for look-a-likes made out of solid wood with ornate detailing. Then, give you’re finished look a twist by mixing in modern pieces and using vibrant prints to reupholster your finds.
