My Home Feature in Abode Magazine!
It’s really been a hectic month so far! I FINALLY managed to make some time to share something I’ve been dying to put on Better Decorating Bible. For Qatar’s Abode magazine July/August issue, I had the lucky opportunity to have my unique home featured! As some of you already may know, I write for Abode’s decorating section each month. I love contributing to this wonderful magazine and love the fact that their magazines are all over Qatar’s hotels, first and business class airlines, kiosks, and many more. Would definitely love to pay them a visit one day!

Go With the Flow: How to Decorate Using Posh Pink Hues
When asked their thoughts on the color pink one message interior designers made loud and clear this season – it not just for girls anymore. If you use this bold contrasting color properly, it can bring a strong sense of authority and flair. Here are some tips on how to do it right the first time:
- Be sure to watch the tone and intensity of the shade – too bright can come off feeling cheap, while baby pink can end up looking like a children’s room.
- If you are trying pink for the first time, use it in small doses like for accessories and linens. Add pink throws or pillows; use pink drawer pulls, tassels, fringe, and trim.
- If your room is looking dull, add a dose of fuchsia to create energy and add an element of fun. A simple touch is enough to bring out a room’s inner magic.

Olive Green Bohemian Living Room and Library
Bohemian style is one of my favorites, so when I came across this chic library I just had to feature it on my blog. Unlike many other decorating styles, bohemian is a style that never fades and always looks on trend.
If you want to get the look try mixing and matching different patterns and colors, all why sticking to natural tones such as the olive green walls and beige furniture. Bring the outdoors in with natural elements like these rustic carved arm chairs or even a tree stump coffee table. The point is to create a relaxed atmosphere that brings a calm and welcoming aroma. Take a look:
