Traditional Décor at DC Design House By Marika Meyer

If touring show houses is considered a hobby, then I’m all in! This gorgeously decorated DC Design House was done by Marika Meyer who chose a simple color palette of white, beige and green. The whole home was created to bring in as much natural light as possible, which is one thing I love since I can’t live in dark and gloomy spaces. The unfussy color palette gives way to let some of Mother Nature’s gifts shine through like the floral arrangements and beautiful scenery from the outside. Her eye for natural beauty can be seen by the octopus tea cups, framed insects, over-sized clam shells, and fish motifs throughout.
