DIY Friday: Decorating with Christmas Garlands

Take an eco-friendly approach this holiday season and decorate with evergreen garlands throughout your home. You can purchase them already made, or easily make your own this weekend.

How to:

• Collect evergreen trimmings from your yard and wrap long bunches with wire or twine, overlapping them to create long strings of pine, cedar or fir. Drape them around your mantel, banister, mirrors, or porch.
• Wrap ribbon, bows, lights, and Christmas decorations for even more flair.
