Welcome to Iris Barrel Apfel’s New York City Apartment! This fashion muse, decorator, designer and co-founder of Old World Weavers invites us into fabulous apartment featuring many unique treasures and a long story to tell!

Many pieces in the home are 18^th and 17^th century French , made from Sicilian fabrics, Louis XVI inspired, old reproductions, you name it. The apartment is full of surprises and history. What I like the most is the hallway which is lined with dog paintings, and 19^th century bookcases filled with volumes on fashion, decorative arts, and Chinese costumes and textiles.
