I have to admit, decorating with green is difficult and can end up looking a mess if not done correctly (I know someone who has a green room that looks like they can go golfing in). Be careful when choosing green, making sure to choose the right shade to complement your home.

New trends this year for green are forest, olive and lime green shades. NEVER choose a classic, true green color or risk your room looking like a chalk board and a joke as well. If you are scared to take the plunge or make a mistake, choose a wallpaper with green in it or paint only half the wall green under or above a chair rail.
