Glamorous Rooms by Jan Showers Book Review

I have to say, Jan Showers’ dazzling book “Glamorous Rooms” is a must for any interior designer or someone who just loves interior décor. It is a great source of inspiration and a wonderful presentation of the designer’s elegant taste and attention to detail.

In Shower’s book she reveals many beautiful rooms she has designed around the world. In these large glossy pictures are shown rich textures, fabrics, and finishes, all guaranteed to catch your eye. The rooms Jan designs as you can see are fit for royalty and like the title, are all quite glamorous.

As you might have noticed in some of my posts, I have included photos from Jan Showers’ book which perfectly fits in my blog’s style of modern French mixed with Hollywood Regency and elegant minimalism. I’ll be posting more photos from her book in the future. In conclusion, Jan Shower’s book is a must buy and makes a great gift!

    Hi Suzy!
I loved the animal print stairs. How elegant! I must have this in my house.
    Pure genius…

Thanks Anne! Glad you enjoyed it!

  3. Love the review! I’ve been wanting to purchase this book, but every site shows the cover as the room. Does it actually come with the leopard cover and the inside is the room image? I was hoping to purchase with the leopard cover but nothing specifies. Wasn’t sure if there was a special edition.

Thanks in advance for your help!

      Hi Jaclyn,

When I purchased my book it had the leopard cover but the photo of the room is actually a paper cover that covers the book. You can just take this off if you prefer the leopard cover. I hope this helps!
